Diana has successfully pursued and defended wage and hour, wrongful termination, and discrimination cases, as well as litigated countless sexual harassment, promissory fraud, and implied-in-fact contract cases. Diana began litigating as a public defender in Santa Clara County. In the area of criminal law, Diana won more than two-thirds of her misdemeanor jury trials and over half her felony jury trials, while the average defense lawyer can expect to win only about 10% of felony trials and 30% of misdemeanor trials. Diana is selective about which civil cases she chooses to litigate, and has enjoyed a very high success rate in resolving employment disputes.
